Healthy Dressing and Marinade

Olive Oil Dressing Recipe

This dressing works well as a base dressing. Many variations can be added for versatility of this healthful dressing or marinade. I have used it as a salad dressing as well as a marinade for tasty Italian style chicken. I make one large batch at once and store it in a dark 750ml wine bottle.

1 -750ml Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
¼ cup Organic Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
3 tbs. Organic dry chopped oregano
2 tbs. Organic dry chopped basil
1 ½ tbs. Organic granulated garlic
½ tbs. Celtic Sea Salt

Mayonnaise may be added for a creamy Italian dressing as well as fresh basil or dill. Always look for natural products without added sugars or chemicals and an olive oil based mayo is your superior choice. I also add nutritional yeast for a Vitamin B boost and 1 tbs. flax oil for additional omega 3's.
